- Development and applications of NMR Imaging techniques for biological and medical imaging; The recent
emphases has been the development of Relaxographic MRI(rMRI) for medical diagnostic applications.
- Methods of rMRI data analysis and Quantitative measurements.
- NMR/EPR relaxation mechanisms in homogeneous and heterogeneous media;muti-component relaxation and
cross-relaxation in biological tissues and living cells.
- MRI Contrast Agents; studies including the design factors, mechanisms and simulations. The recent
interest is liver-specific Gd-chelates.
- MR Spectroscopy in vivo for studies of metabolism.
- Brain Oximetry using MRI and MRS.
- DNP-enhanced MRI and Oximetry at very low magnetic field.
- High temperature superconducting RF coil design.
- Solid State NMR/EPR studies on High temperature Superconductors.
- Macroscopic Quantum Tunneling on low dimensional superconductors.

- Low field(0.15T Technicare), Medium field(1.0T Seimens) and High field(4.0T LittleSmith) .
- Multi-Frequency Pulsed Proton NMR Relaxometer.
